I have not seen anyone say that WD has recovered any data from their Drive? It seems that WD just say the drive was damaged or send a pathetic 40% discount.
We would like to inform you that Western Digital offered a data recovery program for eligible customers who had lost their data which expired on July 31, 2021
I did have it in before July 31, 2021 and after many emails it eventually went to the recovery company which it has been for over a month. It seems odd that no one has come forward to say that they have had their data recovered. If you need to check out what is going on at your side you can talk to Samual D, Roy S, Alan K, and Oscar D.
