Green WD strange unmount problem

Hey and thanks for reading this, if you could help me in any way, i`ll be forever grateful.

I have a SATA green WD for about 1 year and a half and since yesterday it randomly unmounts itself, dissapears from drive list and even from drive management.

I have found in event viewer error: An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2\DR2 during a paging operation.

I have searched with checkdisk and with extended test Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows downloaded from WD website, all passed with no error.

Could you please tell me what else to try ? Thank you, Adrian.

Could it be a power issue?

Try checking the Bios when the problem occurs to double check if the Bios still sees the drive even when Windows is not listing the unit.

After each random unmount, i restart (in BIOS drive is seen), windows loads and the hdd is there. Until next unmount.

It happens more than 10 times/day so it is a big problem for me…
