G-Raid with Thunderbolt extremely slow and disconnects

I have brand new, out of the box G-Raid with Thunderbolt 0G02272. It automatically disconnects from my Mac after it’s been running for 10 minutes or so, and the transfer speed is super slow.

It’s doing this both on my iMac running OS X El Capitan 10.11.06 and my Macbook running OS X El Capitan 10.11.06.

I’m using the supplied power and data cables and have tried swapping both power cables and thunderbolt cables.

Any guidance would be so appreciated.

Sounds like it could be a defective unit unfortunately. We would suggest returning it to the place of purchase.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the window for return has expired. I bought it new from B&H Photo but just opened it for the first time. It’s been sealed in it’s original packaging since I purchased it. Is there another method for replacing it?
