G Raid Shuttle Thunderbolt 3 extension

I would like to ask has anyone found an extension for the G Raid Shuttle thunderbolt 3 socket?, that would protect the thunderbolt port from wear and tear?. I have read about other users having issues with the ports and want to hopefully find something that can be attached to the rear possibly a right angled extension that will protect the actual ports thanks
