G-RAID TB3 - Can't see USB-C Port

Hi all,

Just got my TB3 G-RAID. So far it works great for backup.

I’m trying to plug in a smaller SSD to the USB-C port on the back but it won’t register the device. I’ve tried a few drives and a few cables, so far no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi @starman89,

The USB port of the g raid is not preferred for attaching any external drive. It is connecting G Raid to a computer that does not have a thunderbolt port.

The G raid has 2 thunderbolt ports.
One is used to connect to a computer on the thunderbolt port of the computer and the other is used to daisy chain any external thunderbolt drive.
