Hello
is it possible to use the two Thunderbolt 3 ports as USB-C Ports on a PC.
I can’t find any information about that.
I am asking, because its not possible to get TB3 Expansion Cards working in our X99 PC’s.
We would like to buy a G-Raid TB 3 and use it with our Macbook Pro’s on the run, and at the office with our windows workstations. (two workstations)
kind regards
Mark

Hello ordmntl,
Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this.

You can use our G-RAID with TB3 on a PC by using the USB 3.1 connections on it. The performance will be the same as TB3 as the drives are the limiting factor of the speed, not the interface.
