I’m realising that this topic is very outdated but trying to see if anyone can help/shed some light.
I have a G raid 16TB USB Drive which I’ve used as a back up every few months for the last 6 years. Originally bought second hand, so def out of warranty.
I tried to turn it on a week ago and it would not turn on anymore. I’ve tried new/different cables and still not turning on. No light, no sound.
I was wondering if I could order a different second hand encasement so I can retrieve the data inside. Does anyone know if the drives inside will be compatible with anything else? Not a technologically minded person but need some solutions asap as I need to retrieve the data inside asap.
