G RAID 1 thunderbolt RED LOGO light

Woke up to a Mac OS message that my drive has not properly ejected. I tried several Mac and drive reboots, plug, unplug, swap Thunderbolt port. Nothing. Not available on desktop nor Disk Utility.

Then on one restart of the drive the G logo turned red. From various topics I knew to check the removable drives and saw one had red-light the other was blue-light. I removed the re-light drive and the drive finally mounted. I reinserted the red-light drive and logo is still red, but the drive mounts.

Has the red-light drive failed? Or just enclosure or controller issue?

Not sure how to proceed in order to keep having Raid 1 — 2x 6tb drives.
