My Cloud won’t stop flashing blue light - is it basically not usable? Wondering how I can recover the data from here.
I tried unplugging the cables and resetting it both 4 and 40 second options but it does not help but only flashes blue light.
You can take out the hard drive, connect it to a computer. Use a USB/SATA interface. Boot a linux system and then you can recover your data.
The LED status is irrelevant, as the device is bricked and cannot even be pinged.
I’m actually waiting for an explanation why your firmware update bricks our device and what WD is going to do about it.
