Firmware Update Broke NAS? No Dashboard, No Reset

Hi,
my Mycloud does only show a blank page when trying to access the dashboard. I tried to do a hardreset but no success.
Does anyone have a solution?
Btw I think that the hardreset didnt work since the device rebooted pretty fast.

Hello itsno6,

I would suggest you to contact WD support for assistance.

Refer the link provided below for contact information.

Firmware update may have bricked the NAS. Try power cycle, direct LAN access, or USB recovery . Contact support if unresponsive.

Your MyCloud’s showing a blank dashboard and rebooting fast means that hard reset didn’t take. You gotta hold that reset button down for a full 40 seconds while it’s running - should take several minutes to come back up, not just a few seconds. Try clearing out your browser cache, use a different browser or device, power cycle the thing (unplug it for 30 seconds, then wait 3-5 minutes), or hook it up directly with an Ethernet cable.

If none of that stuff fixes it, your firmware’s shot or the hardware’s toast. That quick reboot during the reset is a pretty bad sign. Hit up WD support or find someone who does data recovery if you’ve got important stuff on there.
