Bought this MyBook Live several years ago but never got around to installing. Now , I see there were issues and quite possibily be UNABLE to install and use, even if I wanted to risk it… Any guidance available ???

We regret to inform you that the support for the My Book Live Device has reached the end of its lifecycle and troubleshooting is no longer provided for End of Life products.
We recommend you disconnect your My Book Live from the Internet to protect your data on the device.
You can access the device by connecting directly to the computer.
