I am (french) owner of a 2TB WD Element Play and I am experiencing some disagreements. Sometimes filenames disappear from the interface. For example in a directory the filename list is empty, sometimes fully sometimes partially, but it is possible to navigate with the interface (up down arrows) a go from one invisible file to an other, and the system seems to see the data since it can preview it e.g. the beginning of a video in the preview window on the right of the interface.
When I have this problem I connect the drive to my PC (Vista), and the system tells me that there are some file system errors and proposes to fix them. After correction everything works fine, and the problem may appear again some days later without any reason.
I have the latest firmware installed.
Can you please help me ? does anyone experience the same problems ?
