EX4100, I add a 3rd hd and the light is red for almost a week

Hi, I added a 3rd HD and for almost a week the drive LED is red but all the test say that the drive is healthy, drive had passed all the test and so on.

I’m still in RAID 1 waiting for my last drive to show up.

What is going on here.

Hi,

You need to manually migrate from “RAID 1” to “RAID 5” and make sure you select the option to “Migrate”, not “Switch”. If you select “Switch” all your data will be deleted.

Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. I don’t want to go to RAID 5, I want to go in RAID 1+0. I just opened my cloud and i looked of what you write. I decided to switch two of my drive and now the RAID is rebuilding. Thank you much.
