Hi I’ve ordered a wd ex4100 , with 2x wd red 2tb drives and 1x wd red 4TB drives
I wanted to set them up as the 2x 2tb drives in raid 1 and the single 4tb drive just on its own , not in any raid , with the 4th bay spare , is any of this possible?

It is possible. Just insert the two (2TB) in to slot 1 & 2 and configure RAID 1. After configure RAID 1 done, then insert (4TB) in to slot 3 and configure JBOD.
