Thank you this is fixed now. Able to apply updates to my cloud. Not sure what changed this after couple of days I again tried same steps after reboots and it picked up latest firmware. This can be closed.

Hello everyone,
I’m facing the same issue. My Cloud EX2 Ultra is stuck upgrading the firmware (current 2.40.157). The upgrade process started, but it’s been two days now without progress and I am unable to hybernate or reboot the drive; when doing so I get a message saying that such actions are not permitted during firmware upgrade.
Any ideas how to resolve this?
