EX2 keeps losing its network connection

I have two EX2 My Cloud units. They are assigned a static IP Address and are connected with Cat5e cables to a home Gigabit network. It has started to be VERY slow on backups from my computer, (Windows 10, iCore7 6850, 64Gb RAM) to the My Cloud unit which is used as an NAS drive. The drive is also mapped to my computer as Drive A. Why is it taking over 12 hours to backup 35Gbs of information?

I have gone on my computer gone to the Ethernet Adapter and turned off Large Send Offload V2 (IPv4) and (IPv6). Any suggestions?

It might be a good idea to check your unit’s health and status in the Dashboard under Settings> Utilities> Diagnostics. Both a system test and a full test should be performed.


Already did that. I just did it again and everything checks out fine.

I just saw this thread. Mine has been doing this for the last couple of months. I checked all the share permissions and there were no issues. Sometimes a reboot resolves it, sometimes it just seems to fix itself after a while…
