Error message -50

hey,

every time I try to move files from my computer (Mac OSX) to my WD MyBook Duo it stops and gives the error message -50. What does that mean?

I have no errors on my pc (Windows 7) when I transfer files. I also have no other errors on my imac when using other programs. Only on my iMac when I try to save files to my WD. I run OS X 10.7.5. I want to update to Mountain Lion, but I want to save my files first in case that goes wrong For that I need to transfer files to my MyBookLiveDuo,

In other posts people mention it has to do with battery saving settings. That solution does not work with me.
