Enable DFS and Webdav to be able to map a drive remotely

Hopelessly lost on this topic.  I know that I can enable both webdav and dfs on my EX4 however after that I do not know what to do to be able to map to a drive remotely.  I cannot find any clear instructions on this process.  Any and all help woudl be appreciated.
