Can I map drives on on an EX2 on a remote computer?

Based on what I’m reading, I’m not sure where or not my remote computer can use mapped network drives to the shares on an ex2.  I currently have a My Cloud and looking into purchasing a paid of EX2s for several reasons.  One of tose is that I need to be able to use mapped drives regardless of where I am working.  I think I understand that WEBDAV is what makes this work, but it also apears to have some issues for people.  Can anyone confirm that they are able to map drives on a remote computer?

Mapped network drives shoul work fine locally. Mapped drives remotely using WEBDAV should also work fine. Do a search on this sub-forum…you should see it worked fine.
