I know this problem surfaced a lot but I just want if there is a way to recover my lost files. My 1TB MyPassport hard drive (P/N WDBBEP0010BK-01 decided not to show up anymore. I can hear it spinning and also hear the little sound when I connect it but still no show. I tried uninstalling the drivers, checking the diskpart and disk management but still no way to bring it back so I guess it’s over. Now the drive is showing as “Local Drive” but I can’t do anything to that. It is still on warranty but is there a way to recover the file or I’ll have to send it back? Because I have a lot of work projects and series backup.
