I am looking at getting a NAS/Personal Cloud system. My main item I trying to accomplish is picture video storage between multiple computers. This will be used for personal items. Whats is the difference between WD My Cloud Home Duo and My Cloud mirror. they are the same price and appears to achieve the same thing. What would y’all choose if you were to pick between the two?
I’d avoid any My Cloud Home drives.
Why? and what would you recommend for NAS system for strictly home use?
The My Cloud Home isn’t any ordinary NAS. If anything, it’s rather stripped down and, in an effort to make it “user friendly,” they’ve taken away a lot of functionality.
I’d go the route of the My Cloud Mirror, or even look at the EX2.
