Hi !

I have just bought the 12 TB Version of the ex2 ultra with the newest firmware. So far everything was fine.

My hardware is : mac mini late 2014, 16 gb and 2 tb fusion drive

I quess the newest firmware is producing some problems with java in some browsers !!!

Now i have 5.5 TB left on the drive and always if i upload new data the dashboard begins to hang more and more during local login.

(I have made a clean setup before too but noting works)

Only the start page from the dashboard hangs and everytime i go back to the start page … Please be so kind and fix this bug

Now i have everytime this problems:

  • CUP usage ± 10 %
  • Login time on chrome now 40 seconds +
  • Login time on safari now 16 seconds +
  • Login firefox now 40 seconds +

Thats very awful to wait such a long time ! So what will happen if i have 1 tb left ?? I must wait 1 hour or more to login ?

This makes the system almost unusable.

Would be nice if you fix it. its not good to pay a lot of money for a buggy product. And also (i have mentioned it before) the greater the data now the larger is the login time now.

Hi thanx but i have already made system only reset before too. But now i have the same problems.

Maybe WD should pay there programmers some $ more so they are more interested to program a good and optimised firmware !! :slight_smile:

It seems that they are not really interested to make a good product (except selling there harddrives) . They know all these problems (also vulnerabilities etc. ) since some firmware versions and did not really fix anything.

Also they are selling the product like this “1 GB DDR3-Memory for fast multitasking” …Where is the fast and fluent mulitasking ?

I quess they will loose a lot of customers with this bad programming and updating style. Also allmost every app is from 2014 :(:(:frowning:
