Created new Share (Private) can not access to map drive

I created a new share on MYBookLive named Private. I cannot access this share on my network devices or map it to a drive letter. It opens a dialog box asking to sign in to MTBookLive with a User Name and Password. I have no trouble with my Share Public, and I also have no problem accessing Private from www.wd2go.com or my tablet. I didn’t create any password to the share Private when I created it. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Open a CMD prompt.

Type the command NET USE

see if there are ANY connections to your MBL listed.

If so, delete them.

Thanks for responing TonyPh12345. I ran NET USE and there was no connection to MBL. Only listing was the Public MYBookLive Share. Still need help to access my Private Share?

Then there IS a connection if the public share is listed.
