Created backup with WD Smartware. HOw do I recover it with Acronis True Image?

I have a 5TB MyBook. I created backups using WDSmartware, which now declines to run on my Windows 10 PC. WD directed me to update my software to Acronis True Image.

  1. When I load Acronis True Image, it does not recognize my previous backups.

  2. On the “Backup” tab, when I click “Add Existing Backup,” it allows me to select the backups in the “WD Smartware.swstore” folder on the MyBook. It does not allow me to add them.

  3. When I click “Add new disk” on the “Tools” tab, a message pops up that reads, “Click OK to confirm deletion of all the partitions on the destination hard disk drive.”

How do I get the data off of my MyBook drive?
