I use a WD My Passport Pro (2To)
I have an issue when copying an SD Card (Sandisk SDHC1-32Gb) though it was fine 1 week ago.
I can hear the hdd is working as if it was copying something and the blue diods increase in number as the task is in progress but afterwards when I check with my laptop (USB 3) nothing new appears in the folder “Importing SD” except the previous imports I did several days before.
A help would highly be appreciated…

Were you able to confirm if the sync folder shows additional files or variations in size in order to confirm if files are being hidden?

I confirm that no additional folder was added nor files in any of the already present elements of the “imports sd cards” and nowhere else on the disk.
Could a reason be the reformat of the card in the camera before shooting again and wanting then to import it in the WD Passport Pro ?
If so it should already have happened many times but it didn’t.

I have good news, I spent some hours in trying to understand why I encounter these issues.
I read a lot about the issues or missunderstanding of a lot of users of the device and discovered the important and wide improvements of the new available uddate/upgrade of the firmware (v 1.02.24).
So I decided to update the firmware of my WDPP and …oooh miracle almost all of my questionnings are now solved !!
This is very important for me and I thought this information was also interesting as follow up or feed-back for you who are helping us, users of these HDD’s.
