I am totally stumped as to what can be happening. The files contain photos that I upload from my camera into Lightroom (which sends them to my EHD named Passport 2. I know they ended up there ok because I worked on them in Lightroom. So Lightroom had the correct path to find them. Then a few days later when I wanted o do a routine backup I selected the folder and dragged it to another external drive, Passport 1. Today I noticed the dreaded ? next to the folder in Lightroom asking me to locate where the photos are actually located. Obviously they should still be on Passport 2 but they are not there. And they are not on the other drive, Passport 1, either. Somehow during the copying both sets have been deleted. What in the world is going on?
