I just bought a 3TB WD Elements Basic Storage Desktop Drive. I also bought a HDMI media payer so that I can watch my saved movies on any TV. I’m essentialy using this thing as a portable movie folder. The media player doesnt seem to recognise the hard drive. Is this a common problem? Did I buy the wrong thing? It says there’s no media on there but I backed up my whole computer on there so there must be, right?! I’m so confused! Please help if you can! Thank you!
Try posting in the TV sections for more help. It may be a format issue and the TV may not handle a drive that size.
