Configuring OS5 indexing of photos

I have only recently started to use the OS5 mobile app to access and view photos on my PR2100. I have encoutered a serious (for me) problem with the indexing. In a nutshell OS5 seems to be indexing every single photo on the drive. That includes all the ‘folder’ images for music albums and many other photos that I don’t want to view in my photo collections, but I do want to be able to access those folders, say to listen to music, watch movies, or simply access stored documents.
Reading the documentation and comments here it seems to be an ‘all or nothing’ choice. I can allow or deny mobile or web app access to that share. I would like to allow remore access to a share but control whether or not photos in the share(s) is indexed for viewinf on the app. I feel certain this is technically possible but as far as I can find there is no option to limit indexing.
If I am wrong could someone advise how to control photo indexing.
If I am correct could this be implemented. Curently I have thousands of unwanted images cluttering up my family photos.
Thanks in anticipation.

There is a sub-forum for the PR2100. Go back to the community and for OS5 look at the different devices that are listed.

Thank you cat0w. Your response is appreciated. I strongly suspect this is an OS5 limitation rather than a PR2100 characteristic. However, I fear I am new to using the community knowledge resource and I simply cannot find forums or sub-forums on the OS5 or PR2100. Are you able to provide a link to help.
Many thanks

@Bennor and @cat0w
My sincere thanks for trying to assist. I had in fact found and read the aricles Bennor highlighted which to me clearly indicate its ‘all or nothing’ - shame. Thant means if I was accessing a share on my PR2100 remotely for work reasons, then all my work related photos appear under the photo section of OS5 - not at all a good idea to me.
Additionally, having looked at this more closely in the past hour, the indexing system for OS5 is not only extracting the ‘cover’ of the movies on the drive - it appears to extracting screenshots from the actual movie. Those photos are nowhere to be found on my NAS. Some folks might find that a useful and entertaining feature of OS5 but I fear I don’t and just wish I could switch it off.
I can turn off web access to the Movie share - but then I can’t stream them remotely!!
Oh the joys.
Anyway, thanks for your help. Time to move on.
