I want to change My Passport Ultra from PC to Mac compatible. Is My Passport Ultra compatible with Mac OS X “Yosemite” (sinceit wasn’t listed in the User’s Manual compatability list), or is there a software update to make it compatible with Mac OS X Yosemite?

You should be able to format it for use in the Mac without any problems. The format type you will be using will be called HFS or HFS+. Either one will be perfect for mac. There are many utilities online that will be able to do this for you, some even free.
