Changed to Static IP and locked myself out- Help

Hi all
So I wanted to use Mycloud direct to the ethernet port on my PC. I followed advice to change the IP address and give the WD an IP address on the same network as the PC. I did this but nothing changed and still couldnt use it. However I now cannot, however I try, get back in to my WD to go back to DHCP.
I use the ip address but the PC never finds it and basically I locked out.
Can anyone offer any advice please?

@Louise1 Have you rebooted your router if you connected your My Cloud back to it. Then see the User Manual, Appendix A, Page 87.

Hiya No I haven’t tried that. I could give it a go. I’m just worried that the my cloud is stuck on a static ip
