Hello everybody. I have a wd my passport wireless 2tb. I have it for about 4 years and the problem is that i can’t connect to a computer. I changed the cable but nothing happened. I believe that the port is damaged so i can only use it wirelessly. Does anybody know if i can remove the shell and put an other replacement (like icy box)?
Answer: i finally managed to open the box. The disk works without the battery but the disk is thick and i could not find a new enclosure. The 2 options are either docking station or an adapter.
