Wd my passport unable to open

I have a wd my passport I can no longer open I have changed the wire and tried on 2 laptops and a desk top. I can see it under devices but not listed under computer. When I check it under devices it says it is working properly the light comes on I can hear the motor going, the light stays blinking never goes solid, I can’t remember if it used to. Any ideas?

It seems like over the past few days a LOT of people are having this same problem.  It’s driving me CRAZY trying to figure out howto get this resolved and not finding any solutions that will help.  Just wanted to comments so hopefully SOMEONE at WD can figure out what’s going on with all of these My Passports…at the same exact time…and how we can FIX THIS.
