Change creation date with capture date

The wd photos is not continued any more.
now y use “my cloud” in android , when a check out the photos i SEE that the creation date is the date when the photo is copied to the wd instead of the original one in the mobile.
How can I change all the photos, replacing the creation date with the capture date?

With difficulty.

You may be able to find a tool that will either use the date string encoded in the filename, or embedded in the JFIF header to change to file date.

I’d write a Unix script to parse the filenames into a set of touch command to change the file dates

How are you saving your photos? My Samsung Galaxy S6 is set to upload them automatically and the dates and times are the same. See example image below. See breakdown of date and time below image.

Date of first image is Aug. 31, 2017 (20170831) Time is shown in hours, minutes, seconds 10:35:16 AM (103516)

Do you currently have the ssh feature enabled on your MyCloud?
If not, would you consider doing this for an automated solution?

Please edit your question to include 4-5 sample filenames that you need to fix. If they are all the same format, like 2017-09-09-235900 then just 1 sample filename is fine.
