Cant watch Video from my Smart TV

Hi ,

I have a Toshiba 55’’ 3D 55L7200U but I can’t watch video that are on my WD mycloud. and I can’t watch on my Ipad should I return this product or there’s a way to fix this situation ?

Well, you’re going to need to provide some information – what type of files are you trying?   Does your TV support the files you’re trying to watch?

Are the video files you’re watching on your iPad compatible with Apple?

HI,

my video are all in .avi, .mkv or .xvid . If me TV support the file I dont know but I’m not supposed to be able to read the file from the player inside the WD?

so to be able to read from my Ipad I would need to convert all the files ??

Which WD?   If you mean the My Cloud, the My Cloud is not a player.  It’s just a server.   The Player is your TV.

Yes, if you expect your iPad to play them via the My Cloud app.   The My Cloud app uses Apple’s built-in video player.

If you want to play other formats, you’ll need to use an app that supports those formats.
