Can't see MyCloud from iPAD

I’ve installed MyCloud at home.  I can see the deveice via iPAD on my home network, but when I try to see the device remotely from iPAD via LTE (Cell) or other wifi, I get a mesage that says “Device Offline.  …is not accessible, local documents availanble…”   Any suggestions on how to access the device remotely?
