Cant retrieve back up

Hi. I purchased a Windows 10 laptop (upgrading from Windows 8.1).

I had been using the smartware back up software with the old laptop but I am not able to retrieve the back up using my new laptop.

I have confirmed that the data is still on my My cloud Mirror, I just cannot transfer it to my laptop.

Can somebody please help me with a simplified, step by step guide on the correct procedure to carry out the retrieval in case I have been doing it wrong.

I am assuming that Smartware is Windows 10 proof?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

At the moment WD Smartware is not officially supported on Win 10, WD hasn’t release an update yet and seem to be that Win came out with a few changes that smartware is not working properly in some cases.

As a recommendation, contact WD Support for direct assitance on this case.
