i m trying to copy multiple files in my wd cloud but it misses some of files/folder and don’t shows any error.Any specific reason? while when i copy one by one no issue occurs. it’s external wd cloud hard drive.
What program/software are you using to perform the copy? Windows File Explorer/Mac Finder? To where are you copying the files, from a computer to a My Cloud network attached storage device? Or from a computer to an external hard drive connected to the computer? Or from a My Cloud to an external USB hard drive connected to a My Cloud device?

i am using windows file explorer and copying data from my laptop to the external wd hard drive.
Do you have a My Cloud device? Or do you have an external USB hard drive? They are two different devices. This subforum is for the My Cloud device. What is the “external wd hard drive” connected too?

There are ways to move folders to where you want to save them on the WD My Cloud without copying and pasting.

Select a folder and go to the last folder in order that you want to transfer and while holding down the Shift key click on that folder. You then drag all those folders to where you want them in My Cloud.

Choose a folder and while holding down the Ctrl key select each folder you want to copy to your My Cloud then drag them to the location you want to copy them to in your My Cloud.
