Can't connect to NAS drive after upgrading to Win 10

I have the following product My Book Live Duo 4 TB and have it connected to a router at home. I then use my MS Surface to connect to the drive to save/view data. Everything was working fine.

I have since upgraded to Win 10 and ever since the upgrade I just can’t connect to the Nas Drive! I can ping the NAS drive, and I can also log in from the URL & connect from my Mac and other devices, its just this Win 10 machine that I am having issues with.

The error I get is “Windows cannot access \DUSABOOKLIVE”

Any ideas?

Also to note I have my NAS drive connected to a wireless extender and not the direct router. I don’t think this is the cause of the problem as my other devices can connect to it fine, but it may be worth noting.

Thanks

Hello, welcome to the community.

If you are able to ping the drive from the surface tablet, then maybe is something with the way the DNS is being resolved by the OS. Try to connect to the drive using the IP address instead of using the drive name.
