Cannot SELECT/TICK files for/in Backup on Smart-ware

Switching from Category to File method… Smartware shows a nice Folder Sub-Folder structure,but clicking on a folder/file for backup does not select it…remains blank…

I am attempting to backup data from my WD USB Drive (plugged directly into my desktop PC…and have them backed up on my, MYCloud 4Tb drive

Smartware allows me to arrage the above setup…but not select the files for backup

All help appreciated…thnx
