Cannot create folder called Network Trash Folder (anywhere!)

So, is ‘Network Trash Folder’ some kind of reserved folder name that cannot be used on a MyCloud?

Indeed, it is.

Here’s the relevant line from the Cloud’s Samba configuration file:

[ global ]                                                                                                                                                                                                         
netbios name = CLOUDNAS                                                                                                                                                                                            
server string = WDMyCloud                                                                                                                                                                                          
veto files = /:2eDS_Store/.bin/Network Trash Folder/.systemfile/lost+found/Nas_Prog/mirrored/uploaded/.wdmc/         

Which is unfortunate, because many of those vetos don’t even apply to this platform. That happens because they share code across multiple platforms that do different things.
