Cannot Access Private Share Folders

Hi All,

I just purchased an EX4 and thought I’d finished setting it up.  Currently I have two users (one is admin), it’s for home use.  I wanted to make some of the folders more secure by making them non-public.  However, when I try to open the folder through Windows Explorer it obviously asks for user name and password.  The problem is whatever combination I try, be it the Windows login for my laptop or the admin one I setup for the WD EX4, they all come up with the message that access denied or user credentials incorrect. 

I also tried logging on through MyCloud as Administrator and even on there, the Private folders don’t show up, only the standard public ones.  I checked on the Dashboard and the users all have read/write access to the “shares”.

I’m certainly no expert when it comes to computers these days but I also didn’t think I was that stupid!!!  However this is really puzzling me…any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

And I’m not sure if the same problem , however I have a WDMycloud and have had problems with passwords to access the private network folders . Sometimes the password and denied , and then I go to the sharing settings in the control panel of my cloud , I disable the sharing and I will enable it, it has solved the problem , but this is very annoying to do it always.
