I want to loop subtitles alongside my video on a WD player. The video file is looping fine, but the .srt file only plays on the first loop. Is there a way to sort this?

It’s been a long time since I touched my WDTV, but I seem to remember there’s a setting in the options where you can have subtitles ON by default. That would probably do what you want.
Hey, I tried doing that, but it only seems to play with the first loop?
as a last resort, you could always ‘hardcode’ the subtitle
that’s a 100% guaranteed way to have the subs display on infinite loop
