First of all, i’m sorry for my English. I’m from Holland.
Hello,
Yesterday i bought a Western Digital TV Play Media Player. It’s a very nice media player. But i only have one problem. It doesn’t play subtitles. I put the subtitles in the same folder as the video files, but i don’t have a ‘subtitles on’ option. It should be there when i play my video and hold the option button. But there is no subtitle option. Can someone please help me???
Kind regards!
What subtitle format? Playing from where, USB, media server? If the subs are named identically, the WDTV will play them unless you’re playing from a media server over DLNA, in that case they have to be embedded in the file.
The video and subs have the same name and only the extension different ?
Example:
video.avi + video.srt… i have try some this and working…
Make sure they are called exactly the same.
In windows a good way is .
F2 on the video file, copy , F2 on the sub file, paste , keeping proper subtitle extension
Another way is doqnload bs player , have an auto subtitle download feature.
I asked to wd to have that feature but they dont want to
