I could not update mycloud with ovm version 3 installed since 2017.
I followed the wrong instructions from fox-exe resulting in a bricked webui for ovm (flashing blue led), also no shares under windows.
So my intention is to install the following https://fox-exe.ru/WDMyCloud/WDMyCloud-Mirror/Firmware-Official/ firmware but need to install from shell, yes I can connect )-:
Only problem is that there is no script on my nas to install this file from shell ( /usr/local/sbin/updateFirmwareFromFile.sh) because this file is missing on my system.
Please help to restore the .bin with a shell script.
