WD Black 8TB heads chirping not spinning up at all. Have had it for only a week.
My son pulled the cable and it fell over (not off of anything, just fell over on my desk). Could that seriously have stuck the heads? If so, I might consider not marketing this product to gamers. I’ve seen how they treat their gear.
Anyway, halp! Not a ton of unbacked-up data, but some. Would like to salvage if possible, but I don’t have a desktop, don’t want to crack it open if that will mess with the warranty, and just don’t feel like waiting a month for SpinRite to drill it out.
