I bought a Buffalo wireless adapter (yes, it was on the list) but it does not work and WD support can’t help. So now I am going to buy another adapter and wanted to know which ones work best? Or just work at all?
Hi, I presume you are talking about a dongle rather than a wireless router. As a newbie to WDTV Live networking myself, I suggest the D-Link DWA140, Installation was a piece of cake, High speed streaming specs up to 300mps, High quality weighted stand included in the box. What you may have overlooked is that the router you use must also be on the list, And be compatible with the dongle in terms of type of transmission and reception modes, E.G wireless n or wireless g etc. And always keep an eye on your firewall in terms of making sure it’s not blocking anything vital from making a connection with your computer.
