Issues connecting to mac with wireless adaptor. Help!

Hi there,

I’m having an issue connecting my unit to my Mac computer wirelessly.

The Wireless Adaptor I’m using is a D-LINK DWL-G122.

The light comes on when I plug it into the WDTV unit, but when I go to Network Setup, there is no ‘Wireless’ option as stated in the instruction manual.

Anyone have any ideas?

That USB dongle is not on the supported hardware list:

All you can do is install the latest firmware, factory reset / power cycle to make sure it’s working as it should and keep your fingers crossed.

USB wireless adapter support is pretty rigid on the Live units; you need to get both the right model and the right revision, otherwise there are no guarantees that it’ll work.
