Belkin Wireless USB

So I bought a Belkin N150 USB Wireless Adapter but unfortunately it is a v2 not a v1 which is on the compatibility list.

I can’t seem to get it to work and the v2 thing is probably why.  It should just slot in with the led blinking correct?  When I use the WD Automatic Network search nothing pops up.

Also I installed the driver on Win7 and the device was installed properly. However the led never blinks and even after right-click/enable  under network adapters it just stays greyed out and disabled. It says enabling…enabled but just stays greyed out still.

Maybe I have just got a faulty usb adapter.  If someone could say whether or not the v2 works with the wd live or not that would be great.

Thanks!

Change it to a supported adapter.

Thanks Tony… I was wondering of you could help me also. I have a slotted screw, I need to remove but only have a phillips screwdriver.
