i bought a usb wireless lan card, which apparently was the wrong version because it didnt work.

so i got a : 

BELKIN N150 Enhanced Wireless USB Adapter F6D4050

and i tried checking on the wd website to match up if will work. But it’s not version v1000, but its version 2. a different belkin will work as version 2. will this work anyway?

Hi there, I think you’ll find this list quite helpful, it has a full list of officially supported, as well as tested to work but unsupported wireless adapters. As you can see your adapter (With R2 revision) is on the supported list if you’re at least on firmware 1.04.31, so it should work.

The original poster has a Live Hub so we will have to assume that the list also applies to that device with the latest software. 

If you have the adaptor the best way to check if it works is to plug it in. You can then tell us.

I got BELKIN Surf  USB wireless MICRO adapter (N150) same as regular one but much smaller Ver:1011 nt ans works fine:smileyvery-happy:
