Backward compatibility G-RAID TB3?

Hey guys,

I’m looking into buying a bunch of G-RAID TB3 but I’m wondering about backward compatibility.

One of our laptop is TB3 and USB-C, but we also have an older laptop with regular USB ports and TB2. We’d like to be able to use this drives in both of them.

I wonder if the G-RAID TB3 will be recognized by the older laptop.

I see in the spec sheet that they have USB-C to USB-A cable included in the box for backward compatibility but I’d like to make sure I’m not missing anything, as I’ve never really used USB-C before.

Thanks in advance for helping out,
Best

Yes it will work as long as you have an adapter to convert from TB3 to TB2, the cables are different.

Great, thank you!
